3.1 Visiting the website
When you visit our website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server — in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested, and details of your browser and operating system. This data is required in order to deliver the page to you at all, and is processed for the duration of the connection.
We keep no access logs. Your visits are not stored permanently, not analysed and not aggregated into statistics.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing the website.
3.2 Contacting us through this website
Several pages offer a contact form. You may equally write to us directly by email.
Details you enter yourself:
Details that arise on submission: your IP address and the date and time of sending. We need these to detect and prevent misuse of our form — see 3.4.
We use no external service for the form. Your details are received by our own server and forwarded by email to our mailbox; no third-party form provider is involved at any point.
The purpose of processing is answering your enquiry — in particular your questions about our services — and the security of our systems.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering enquiries addressed to us and protecting our systems against misuse. Where you have given consent, the basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where your enquiry aims at entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies in addition.
These details are not passed to third parties, apart from the processors named under 4.
3.3 Acknowledgement of receipt
After submitting the form you receive an automatic acknowledgement at the address you provided. It contains none of the content of your enquiry, only the notice that an enquiry reached us. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in confirming successful receipt to you.
3.4 Protection against misuse of the form
To prevent our form being used to send unwanted email to uninvolved third parties, we limit how many submissions may originate from one internet connection. For this we hold your IP address together with the times of your page views and submissions.
This information is held in the server's memory only. It is not stored permanently and is discarded whenever the server restarts. Times older than one hour are disregarded.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in preventing misuse of our form — including protecting those whose addresses could otherwise be entered without their knowledge.
We pass on your data only where this is necessary to operate the website and handle your enquiry. Recipients are:
We do not pass your data on for advertising purposes or to any other third parties, except where we are legally obliged to do so.
Our server is located in Germany. The mailbox in which your enquiry is handled is operated in a Microsoft 365 tenant within the European Union.
No transfer of your personal data to a third country is intended, and to our knowledge none takes place.
In respect of your personal data you have the following rights:
Where we process your data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you may object to that processing. We will then stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds. A message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise these rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
Where you have consented to processing, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal is unaffected. A message to the contact details above is sufficient.
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data, and our website can be used without providing any.
To use the contact form we need your name, email address and message — without these we cannot accept or answer your enquiry. Phone number and company are optional.
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
Our website sets no cookies and embeds no third-party content. In particular, no analytics services, no social networks, no external fonts and no content from other servers are loaded. Every part of the page is delivered by our own server. Transmission is encrypted (TLS).
